Magnolia Pet Finder adds another way to reunite Magnolia Residents with their lost or strayed pets, using the technology of an 'RSS Feed'.  RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it. Through magnoliaresidents.com, lost pet information can now stream directly to your computer's web browser, alerting you of missing or found pets instantly.  If you're not using RSS presently, it's really simple to activate.

The Magnolia Pet Finder RSS feed can be easily added to your favorite desktop environment, be it My AOL, Google Desktop, My Yahoo!, MSN Start, Bloglines, and others.  Or, you can add it quickly and easily to your existing browser, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.  Here's an example of how to add it to Internet Explorer:

When you visit magnoliaresidents.com, the universal RSS symbol will appear highlighted.  Click on it, and you'll be prompted to add it to your favorites.  All other popular browsers use a similar method.  Once added, 'Magnolia Pet Finder' will refresh automatically with updated missing/found pet information.
